The SSI Marine Ecology Course uncovers the many different marine ecosystems and the biodiversity of the marine life that inhabits each of them.
Discover the different species of each ecosystem and how important each one is the the overall health of the ecosystem and in turn to the planet as a whole. Learn about the oceanography and
the waves, tides and currents. Discover the human impact and then learn about the management and conservation efforts that are making a difference around the world, such as Marine Protected Areas;
Lanzarote has many protected areas including the Biosphere Reserve (1993) and the Marine Area of the Natura 2000 Network.
