The TDI Advanced Nitrox Course is for nitrox certified divers who are looking to extend their dive time. Perhaps you enjoy photography or hanging on the reef and would like to stay a little longer to enjoy the view? Then the TDI Advanced Nitrox course is for you.

You'll learn in a fun environment how to plan and conduct dives within your current maximum certification depth to a maximum depth of 40m, using nitrox mixes from 21% - 100% oxygen that do not required staged decompression.

On this workshop style course you'll increase your diver skill set by mastering your positioning in the water, buoyancy & trim, different finning techniques, and underwater communication skills.

Who is this course for?
Any nitox certified diver looking to expand their in-water diver skills.
Any nitrox certified diver who would like to know more about diving on nitrox mixes greater than 40% oxygen.
The certified diver who is interested in becoming a technical diver.

TDI Advanced Nitrox Course

Prerequisites

Diver Level:	Minimum TDI Nitrox Diver or equivalent We prefer divers to be certified Advanced Adventure or Deep Divers, with TDI Intro to Tech
Logged dives:	Minimum of 25 logged open water dives
Age:	Minimum 18 years of age; 15-17 years with parental consent

Depth:	40m maximum certification depth
Cost:	450,00€
Includes:	- TDi e-learning - TDI e-certification card - hire of cylinders for course duration
Excludes:	- equipment hire and gases
Other:	The cost of the instructor's gases are to be covered by the student/s.

What theory will I learn on the TDI Advanced Nitrox course? What theory will I learn?
- diving physics and physiology relating to diving on gas mixtures containing more than 40% oxygen
- equipment considerations: analysing gases, cylinder labeling, gas blending procedures and oxygen service ratings
- dive & gas planning: dive computers and tables, oxygen limitations and nitrox limitations

What skills will I learn on the TDI Advanced Nitrox course? What skills will I learn?
- selection and preparation of equipment
- correct body position and approriate trim

How long is the course? What if I need more dives to achieve the standard?
It is possible to do more dives to achieve the minimum course standards for certification, this is time permitting and there is an additional cost of 65,00€/dive.

What is the maximum group size for this course?
We prefer to keep groups small; 2-4 people

Can I learn to dive twinset or sidemount on the TDI Advanced Nitrox course?
Yes, here at Lanzarote Dive Centre you can combine the TDI Advanced Nitrox course with either the TDI Intro to Tech Course, which is a Twinset course, or the TDI Technical Sidemount Course.
