Helium is currently in short supply around the world and even when it's not, it's not aways availabie at all dive sites, however this doesn't mean that you have to miss out on these deeper and longer dives when helium is not available. By diving on air and having 2 decompression gases of different nitrox mixes or oxygen, you can decrease the risks of deeper diving on air and still make those amazing dives, with the correct training, knowledge, skills and equipment.

On the TDI Extended Range course you will learn in a safe, fun environment how to plan and conduct dives those deeper dives that require staged decompression, on air with 2 decompression gas up to a maximum certification depth of 55m.

Who is this course for?
The certified TDI Advanced Nitrox Diver / TDI Decompression Procedures Diver who is looking to expand their technical dive training.
You may be looking to expand your theory, skills, experience and even dive that little bit deeper perhaps in some of the less accessible dive sites in the world.

What's next?
The TDI Trimix Course or perhaps a TDI Rebreather Try Dive or course.

Prerequisites

Diver Level:	Certified as TDI Advanced Nitrox Diver and TDI Decompression Procedures Diver or equivalent
Logged dives:	Minimum of 100 logged dives, of which 25 must be deeper than 30m
Age:	Minimum 18 years of age

Dives:	4 dives
Depth:	55m maximum certification depth
Gases:	air nitrox or oxygen for staged decompression

Includes:	- TDI e-certification card - hire of cylinders for course duration
Excludes:	- equipment hire and gases

How long is the TDI Extended Range Diver course? What if I need more dives to achieve the standard?
It is possible to do more dives to achieve the minimum course standards for certification, this is time permitting and there is an additional cost of 65,00€/dive plus the cost of equipment hire and gases for you and your instructor.

What is the maximum group size for this course?
We prefer to keep groups small; 2-4 people

Can I complete the TDI Extended Range Diver course on sidemount? Can I complete the course on sidemount?
Yes, here at Lanzarote Dive Centre you can complete the TDI Decompression Procedures Diver course on sidemount if you already hold a Technical Sidemount certification. Not a certified Techincal Sidemount Diver then combine the TDI Technical Sidemount Course with us here at Lanzarote Dive Centre.
